A Message from your District Director

Good Morning All!

Wow, this has been such a fun year so far, with all the rallies we have all been attending. To make it even more fun, we have Rendezvous coming up in a few weeks, then in October, the EWMA Mississippi Rally. Good times!

At Rendezvous, Thursday will be Patriotic day, so wear your patriotic gear and on Friday, wear Red to honor our veterans. Saturday, if you are on the District team, please wear your 2026 District Rally shirt and if not, wear your chapter shirt. Mississippi is going to be in the house! To assist at Rendezvous, the chapter members of the MS District have been asked to assist on Thursday with handing out packets at the pre-registration table. There are going to be 3 (3 hour) shifts from 8-5. We are getting with the chapter directors to work out the schedule. Thank you in advance for all your help, as usual. Our District can proudly say that we have the best members who participate and help when needed. There are members coming from each chapter in Mississippi – thank you all!

At the Mississippi Rally, Chapter Y is going to be working Registration with the assistance of Ch. B. Chapter B has Ticket sales. Chapter J is going to be handling the coins/tickets in the games area while Chapter N works the games. Thank you to Chapter N for doing the crafts. Terry Kleinheitz and Melinda Lipe are going to be handling the Bingo games (thank you!). Without all the wonderful members of our chapters (and our independent members) we would not be able to represent at Rendezvous or have such a successful Rally each year.

Please, each chapter, bring snacks and bottled water for the Hospitality table and door prizes for the game area. KZ Kleinheitz, thank you for volunteering to oversee the Hospitality table at the rally.

MS Rally Setup will begin Wednesday morning, October 14, at 0900 at the Community Center for anyone who would like to assist.

Don’t forget to get your registration forms sent in for the MS Rally (Oct 15-17). There is a deadline (listed on the registration paperwork) for ordering rally shirts. You can order them via the registration form or go online to the EWMA store and order them directly from Ms. Terry Brown.

Comfort Inn and Suites, 14001 Big Ridge Rd (2 miles from the Rally) is offering Rally participants a discounted block of rooms for the Rally!!

A double queen room for 4 nights ( check in on Wed 14 Oct and check out on Sun 18 Oct) is $436 plus taxes. A king room for the same dates is $396 plus taxes. The hotel will also offer discounted rates for participants who stay less days also. Call the hotel directly at 228-872-1600 and tell them you are with the Eagle Wings Motorcycle Association Rally. The hotel also offers a free continental breakfast daily.
